Another Step Forward

Happy Easter everyone! What a beautiful day and weekend it has been for a glorious occasion.

On Friday we met with our social worker for the first time. We met in Bellefontaine to split the difference of travel with our social working coming from Columbus. The meeting went really well. We filled out a questionnaire prior to our visit that asked us about our background and upbringing. During the meeting we revisited many of those questions. It is sort of like your life in review but our social worker was very friendly and the visit was very informal.

Two more visits to go including a home visit, but our social worker said she thought we might be able to get both of them done by the end of May. We need to prep for our house fire inspection too.

A big thank you to Costin Family Practice who squeezed us in for an appointment on Friday morning before we met with our social worker. We each needed to do a health physical as part of our adoption checklist so it was nice to get that marked off of our to do list, as well.
